| What |
The Foothill College Swap Meet has moved and the new location
is working out quite well. Free parking for buyers, but the
lot reaches capacity so plan to arrive early. As before, expect
to find lots of Silicon Valley junk including computer parts
and Ham radio stuff. Almost no commercial stuff. Remember, there
is no event November through February :( |

CRC has moved from Santa Clara to Sunnyvale, right next door
to Weirdstuff Warehouse. I haven't been to their weekly fundraiser
sale in the new location, but the last time I went, the staff
was friendly and helpful and the prices were great. CRC is also
a great place to donate older equipment rather than having it
end up in a landfill somewhere. |

components and hardware. Prices are reasonable and they get
new inventory often. Lots of stuff is available for sale on
their new e-commerce web site, but I prefer to browse the isles

An amazing collection of mechanical parts ranging
from huge industrial milling machines to precision linear stages
and optics. They have machine tools, motors, pneumatic stuff,
raw materials, etc. etc. Reminds me of what RA Enterprises used
to be like. My favorite place to scrounge for parts. |
